About the role
The Program Manager in Service Recovery supports MTC for MRO aircraft by coordinating the procurement, movement, and tracking of aircraft parts and materials.
Responsibilities
- Ensures timely resolution of material shortages
- Accurate updates within SAP
- Effective communication with U.S.-based teams, distribution warehouses, line stations, and external suppliers
- Manages site level shortage activity, including reconciliation, meeting required deadlines, ordering from stock, recalling station spares, checking the MRO Master and other sources for available inventory, and procuring from OEMs or surplus vendors
- Oversight of the parts RTA process, Over Cap approvals, AOG drop ship activity, and all ROB actions, including initiation, capture, and submission through the ROB tool
- Updates MSNs with current status information and works with the MRO to close shortages upon material receipt
- Procuring aircraft parts
- Creating MSNs when inventory is unavailable
- Maintaining accurate procurement and inventory data in SAP
- Ordering from distribution warehouses and external suppliers per Service Recovery SOPs
- Processing Removal/Install transactions
- Managing returns of unused inventory (06 Material)
- Resolving issues identified in In Transit and Stationary Tracking Reports
- Using aircraft manuals (IPC, CMN, ER/A, drawings, service bulletins) to identify alternate part solutions
- Validating effectivity and alternate MPNs
- Reviewing 8130 tags
- Receiving and staging AA kits, Prepull/FK1, and Nonroutine/FK2 inventory
- Supporting SOP development, training documentation, and quality audits
- Daily coordination with Service Recovery, ASO, Material Planning, and Component Shop support
- Participating in daily production meetings
- Identifying material constraints
- Proposing solutions to minimize aircraft TAT
Qualifications
3+ years of relevant experience.
