About the Role

Responsible for planning, selecting, and purchasing materials, supplies, and services.

Responsibilities

• Purchases materials, supplies, and services at the most favorable terms for the organization.
• Qualifies vendors, evaluates bids, and negotiates prices and terms for purchased goods and services.
• Tracks purchases, monitors vendor quality, and maintains a current database.
• Expedites daily repair purchasing activity, including limited price negotiation, quote approvals, and delivery schedule.
• Coordinates with the Sales team to fulfill customer needs, including expediting, warranty resolution, order status, and related information.
• Compiles information and analysis as required.
• Prioritizes repair order activity in support of established business objectives.
• Expedites products/services to ensure they are delivered within schedule.
• Resolves non-conformance issues.
• Initiates various shipment requests.
• Assists the relevant Repair Administrator in preparing purchase orders if required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Skills

• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of procurement practices and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
