Key Areas of Responsibility

• Inquire, analyze and negotiate multiple quotations to ensure best source/cost practices.
• Cook up vendor bids for blanket orders, capital projects and spot buys.
• Research new products, services and suppliers.
• Process electronic requisitions and purchase orders for initial buys, repeat buys and spot buys.
• Follow-up on orders and expedite delivery according to plant requirements.
• Research and disposition payments on various invoice issues.
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate with various departments for problem solving if necessary.
• Develop and maintain files for reference/project history.
• Supervise/manage suppliers.
• Establish and report Supplier Diversity program to customers.
• Conduct on-site inspections/visits when deemed necessary by TSAC management.
• Manage and carry out all additional duties as deemed necessary and assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Achieved an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or a Purchasing/Buying related field.
• 1 – 3 years’ experience in a purchasing or buying related field.
• Proven negotiation and judgment skills.
• Well-developed computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
