About the role

This role requires onsite work 4 days per week at our Point Richmond, CA office. This role is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship or H1B Transfer. Employment authorization requiring OPT is not supported for this position.

Responsibilities

• Identify and select suppliers.
• Establish and manage relationships with designated suppliers.
• Engage in negotiations with vendors on pricing, delivery, service, payment terms, and quality.
• Monitor overall supplier risk profiles and changes.
• Release and monitor purchase orders to maintain material flow.
• Expedite orders when needed.
• Collaborate with AP and receiving on supplier invoice management and inventory control processes.
• Leverage and update ERP systems for accurate supplier and item information.
• Optimize replenishment methods, supplier lead times, and material box sizes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Implement continuous improvement activities internally and with suppliers.
• Ensure all supplier-facing legal documents are up to date and compliant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in supply chain or related field plus 1 year of related experience (could include internships/co-ops or significant project work related to Supply Chain).
• OR High School Diploma/GED plus 9 years of supply chain experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing environment.
• Experience in MRP system environment.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel.

Pay

Pay range for this opportunity is $68,637.50 - $88,825.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Schedule

Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (4/9 schedule), with Fridays working remote.
