Buyer, Chemicals & Ingredients

The Buyer, Chemicals and Ingredients is responsible for supporting strategic sourcing activities impacting manufacturing processes in North America. Key Duties Include Building partnerships with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Environmental, and Marketing to support chemicals and ingredients categories.Providing recommendations and influencing stakeholders through effective communication and presentations.Developing understanding of regional spend, stakeholder needs, and procurement landscape to support sourcing strategies.Identifying process improvements and value-added opportunities using data and new technologies.Leading or supporting supplier negotiations, including contracts and pricing.Managing medium to complex sourcing events independently and collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders.Following procedures for supplier selection and resolving issues with minimal supervision. Qualifications Include Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.At least two years of related work experience; three or more preferred.Experience in sourcing strategy, contract negotiation, and familiarity with SAP Ariba, Power BI, or AI sourcing tools is advantageous.
