Buyer - Capital Projects
What You’ll Do
- Procure parts and services with complex or custom requirements
- Facilitate inter-company purchases while ensuring timelines are followed
- Perform supplier capabilities qualification and enforce quality requirements
- Receive, validate and communicate Engineering Specs for equipment with support of Engineering
- Maintain project forecast expectations for capital expenditure
- Align on FAT / FWT testing execution with the support of Engineering/Quality or Customer representatives
- Track supplier performance, compliance and facilitate clear paths of communication for symbiotic supplier relationships
This Role Could Be The Next Step In Your Career If You Demonstrate The Following Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, operations or a combination of those functions
- Some or all of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum of two (2) years of procurement or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with SAP MRP/ERP system preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a high mix, low volume manufacturing environment

- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
Salary Information
The expected annual salary range for this role is $71,000 - $105,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
