Buyer
Key Functions
- Inventory replenishment and inventory management, including turns, dead stock, fill rates, forecasting, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
- Coordination with the business Controller.
- Contribute directly to product line profitability.
- Support product training for the sales team and operations team.
- Lead the resolution of product claims and coordinate with regional peers to address shortages and overstock situations.
- Generate reports as required.
- Review orders for accuracy and work with suppliers to expedite purchases as needed.
- Maintain vendor relations.
- Participate and lead in coordination and execution of product replenishment tactics between locations.
Qualifications
- Must have a commitment to continuous education and improvement.
- Experience in building materials and/or forest industry is preferred.
- Proficient with SAP.
- Experience with Excel.
- Advanced experience using Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with Product Managers, Product Sales Reps, and other business partners.
- Customer service mentality.
- Excellent computer and analytical abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Adapts to and thrives in constant change.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building materials and/or forest industry.
- Proficient with SAP.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
Pay
This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $54,000 - $81,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
