Buyer

Key Functions

• Inventory replenishment and inventory management, including turns, dead stock, fill rates, forecasting, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
• Coordination with the business Controller.
• Contribute directly to product line profitability.
• Support product training for the sales team and operations team.
• Lead the resolution of product claims and coordinate with regional peers to address shortages and overstock situations.
• Generate reports as required.
• Review orders for accuracy and work with suppliers to expedite purchases as needed.
• Maintain vendor relations.
• Participate and lead in coordination and execution of product replenishment tactics between locations.

Qualifications

• Must have a commitment to continuous education and improvement.
• Experience in building materials and/or forest industry is preferred.
• Proficient with SAP.
• Experience with Excel.
• Advanced experience using Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with Product Managers, Product Sales Reps, and other business partners.
• Customer service mentality.
• Excellent computer and analytical abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Adapts to and thrives in constant change.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building materials and/or forest industry.
• Proficient with SAP.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.

Pay

This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $54,000 - $81,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
