Responsibilities

- Minimize inventory costs and maximize profit margins.
- A professional presence that creates trust and credibility.
- Analyze multiple reports, systems and databases to check inventory levels across all affiliate stocking locations to ensure items are properly stocked.
- Calculates and enters in stock replenishment orders to send to suppliers within parameters of the company ERP System and vendor policies.
- Processes branch requisitions, customer direct deliveries and purchase orders through ERP operating system.
- Prepare information, reports, and presentation materials, contributing to the organization's overall success.
- Resolves customer back-order issues in a timely manner and in the most cost-effective way.
- Processes inventory returns to vendors for credit for excess, overstock or incorrect inventory.
- Maximizes all available pricing and freight discount programs for inbound stock purchase orders.
- Works closely with multiple departments to remedy discrepancies regarding inbound and outbound purchase orders.
- Investigate and identify where quantity and pricing do not align with demand or goals.
- Tracks and updates scheduling of all purchase orders.
- Captures and communicates inventory levels of promotional items to Product Managers and Sales staff.
- Maintains accurate pricing updates with Suppliers.
- Negotiates additional discounts beyond the standard to maximize profitability.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, and 2+ years experience in related field or 5+ years of experience in planning, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data and trend analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- High level of knowledge of demand-based inventory forecasting systems.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with multiple departments, independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to deep dive into our process to understand how our inventory model and programming work.
- Ability to analyze and convert raw data into actionable information to upgrade our decision making.
- Exhibit strong decision-making skills, excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented and proactive.
- Experience using an ERP system.
