About the role
Endries International is seeking a Buyer to assist in the procurement of fasteners and related products, supporting customer needs and overall operations. This role involves collaborating with suppliers, monitoring inventory, and contributing to the success of the purchasing department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, communicate regularly, and negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently to maintain inventory levels and meet customer demand.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to avoid overstock and recommend replenishment or adjustments.
- Assist in negotiating favorable pricing and terms with suppliers, leveraging volume discounts and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with quality teams to ensure purchased products meet required quality standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the procurement department.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Replenish inventory through system signals to maintain stocking levels that support customer usage.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in procurement or purchasing role preferred.
- Related industry experience and product knowledge preferred.

Pay
$22–$26/hour (actual compensation will vary based on skill, experience, and qualifications).
