About the role

Corbus, LLC is currently seeking a Buyer / Sourcing Specialist to serve as a consultant for a world-leading provider of commercial and military jet engines and components, as well as avionics, electric power, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Conducts the total procurement activity of assigned commodities.
• Performs all required functions from the determination of requirements to the completion of an acceptable purchase contract, which meets costs, quality, audit, schedule and documentation requirements.
• Develops plan for supplier negotiations utilizing established and creative techniques.
• Develops plans to actively develop competitive sourcing.
• Actively searches for and incorporates cost reduction projects.
• Provides continual market analysis of assigned supplier accounts.
• Provides management with accurate, up to date engine hardware costs as well as forecasts of costs.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or High School Graduate + 1-2 years related experience
• 1yr+ of Oracle Fusion experience
• Quick-learner/works well under pressure/desire to excel/advance
• Knowledge of Excel desired
• Works well with both supplier and internal GE customers

This position is 3 days on-site in Evendale, OH
