Responsibilities

• Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality
• Follow-up on orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records
• Adhere to standard purchasing business processes
• Proactively drive and ensure timely delivery/shipment of parts from supplier to Applied factories, including resolution of shipment/receiving and billing issues with suppliers
• Partner with suppliers on demand/supply collaboration
• Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand
• Drive inventory and E&O (Excess & Obsolete) / Z (Zero) reduction efforts
• Negotiate and execute purchase and RFQ to drive the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source, and urgency of need
• Drive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers) with support from Managers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• A solid understanding of the industry’s key business drivers
• Good communication/interpersonal skills to explain complex information to others
