Buyer Assistant

About the role

We're looking for a motivated Buyer Assistant to join our dynamic purchasing team and help bring exciting new products to our customers.

What You'll Do

• Managing and processing new product information and compliance paperwork
• Cooking and tracking, and receiving of product samples
• Maintaining and updating buying reports and product detail information
• Reviewing product copy details to ensure accuracy across descriptions, pricing, and style numbers
• S supporting supplier compliance efforts related to quality, packaging, and labeling standards
• Working collaboratively with internal teams including product planning, eCommerce, and creative services
• Assisting with product showcases, creative photography samples, and file management

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required
• A bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred
• Prior experience in buying, merchandising, or a related field is a plus
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• A strong attention to detail with the ability to proof data and copy for accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
