About the role

RitterTech, an MCE Company, is seeking a Buyer to join their Industrial Distribution & Purchasing team in Pewaukee, WI. The role reports to the Director of Purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Order Processing & Purchasing: Continually review and process purchasing suggestions, convert mock purchase orders into supplier orders, enter and submit purchase orders via ERP, vendor portals, and EDI channels, and consolidate requirements across supplier locations.
• Supplier & Order Management: Review purchase order acknowledgments for accuracy, catch discrepancies before delays, expedite open purchase orders as necessary, collaborate with suppliers and internal customers to resolve discrepancies, and escalate issues to management.

Qualifications

• Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, comfortable working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also managing independent responsibilities.
• Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent, or 6 months to 1 year of related purchasing/buying experience.

Nice to have

• 2–5 years of buying or procurement experience in an industrial distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Tribute ERP experience is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with EDI order submission and vendor portal systems.
