Buy-side Acquisition Support Consultant, Accounting Advisory Services

Job Summary

This role supports clients with various tasks within the accounting and finance functions. Functions include Accounting Manager, Controller, or Project Manager roles, managing multiple client stakeholders, preparing accounting reports, participating in projects, overseeing closing processes, performing due diligence, assisting with SEC reporting, resolving accounting issues, and implementing new accounting pronouncements.

Job Duties

• Functions in various capacities including Accounting Manager, Controller, or Project Manager for clients
• Demonstrates an ability to manage multiple client stakeholders simultaneously
• Prepares miscellaneous accounting reports
• Participates in various ad hoc projects
• Oversees all aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
• Demonstrates an ability to perform due diligence procedures for clients
• Aids clients with SEC Reporting
• Solves complex accounting issues and assists with implementation of new accounting pronouncements including ASC606 and ASC842
• Other duties as required

Education

• Bachelor’s degree, required; focus in Accounting, preferred
• Five (5) or more years related experience, required
• Experience working with public, private or private equity companies, required
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks or SAP, required
• Professional services industry experience, preferred
• Public Accounting experience, preferred
• Experience with MS Excel at advanced level, preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: CPA, preferred
