Fundraising Coordinator

Special Olympics Montana is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing year-round, statewide programs of physical fitness, sports training, and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and closely related developmental disabilities. Responsibilities

  • Pursue community fundraising opportunities
  • Manage SOMT-branded fundraising initiatives for area volunteers
  • Organize and manage events such as the MTN Chevy Truck Raffle, Polar Plunge, and local business-sponsored events
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in event planning and management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred)
  • Experience in fundraising and event management
  • Knowledge of Special Olympics programs and mission

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage budgets and track expenses
