About the role

As a Part-Time School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students' day with before-school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home. No experience as a bus driver is required—we provide industry-leading training to help you succeed.

Your day will include a split shift: an early morning before-school pickup and an after-school drop-off with a few free hours in between. Additional hours may be available through trips and charters.

Pay

• $32.00/HR starting wage, based on school bus driver experience and type of vehicle
• $28.00 training pay rate for experienced drivers; $20.00 training pay rate for non-experienced drivers
• $7,500 Sign-On Bonus for Fully Licensed Drivers (conditions apply; expires 12/31/2026)
• $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for New Drivers (conditions apply; expires 12/31/2026)

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
• Position is subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee (DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason)
