School Bus Driver

Position Purpose

To ensure the safe transportation of students, staff, and others to and from school, residential neighborhoods, and field trips under the general supervision of the Director of Transportation.

Qualifications

• A licensed driver at least 21 years of age
• A High School Diploma
• A Driver's License
• A Social Security Card
• A Clear FBI/BCI Background check (can be done at the office)
• A CDL with school bus certificate preferred, or must earn within 3 months of hiring (training provided and paid for)
• Pass a driving record check, drug test, background check, and meet physical requirements
• Daily availability and reliability
