Busy Toyota dealership looking for a Used car/Line technician

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership guidelines.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Drive is an essential function.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years as a Technician, dealership experience and Toyota a plus, but not required. Other manufacturer and/or independent repair facility experience will be considered.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.

• Flat rate $22-40 per flat rate hour.
