Busser - The Pier

The Pier is hiring bussers for the 2026 Summer Season. This seasonal, hourly role supports serving staff by maintaining clean, welcoming dining spaces and assisting guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with queries, requests, and redirect as necessary.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables between seatings.
• Help serve food and refill beverages as needed.
• Clean and process dirty dishes and silverware.
• Ensure menus, crockery, and cutlery are clean, polished, and replenished.
• Manage inventory of napkins, straws, salt, pepper, and other table supplies.
• Report damages, shortages, and complaints to the manager.
• Move tables, chairs, and furniture to accommodate customers.
• Tidy the restaurant after service and prepare for the next shift.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Passion for customer service and the restaurant industry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
