Busser / Service Assistant

About the Role

At Cicis we open our doors every day with the purpose of making each guest’s day by delivering remarkable service and high‑quality pizza. We provide training that creates a path into management. This position focuses on interacting with guests, following proper table‑bussing and cleaning procedures, and contributing to a friendly atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and provide positive, friendly service.
• Follow proper table‑bussing and cleaning procedures.
• Prepare ingredients and make quality food products.
• Take guest orders accurately and efficiently.
• Work with urgency to ensure timely service.
• Assist teammates by arriving on time, supporting other positions as needed, and completing all closing duties, including cleaning.
• Comply with Cicis image and appearance standards and help maintain a teamwork‑focused, energetic, and fun atmosphere.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and follow all security standards to protect restaurant assets.

Required Skills

• Must be 18 years old to operate some equipment.
• Ability to lift or carry objects weighing 0–50 pounds with a weigh belt during the shift.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat during the shift.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, confidence, and team‑player mindset.
• Customer‑service focus and strong communication skills.
• Outgoing personality able to develop relationships.
• Demonstrates the highest professionalism.
• Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and co‑workers.
• Comfortable working in an environment with flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises.

Education and Experience

• Experience preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Certified.

Schedule

• Minimum of 25 hours per week.
• Flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Our story began in 1985 when founder Joe Croce opened a single restaurant in Plano, Texas. Starting as a 1,200‑square‑foot take‑out pizzeria, the concept quickly expanded to include an unlimited pizza buffet.
