Busser - HRC Waikiki

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upkeep the restaurant.
• Clear dirty tables.
• Reset tables.
• Sweep the floor.
• Empty trash cans.
• Stock ice/products.
• Maintain a clean and organized back dock area.
• Pre-bussing tables.
• Have a sense of urgency.
• Aid and communicate with hosts, servers, and other bussers.
• (In some Cafes): remove ketchups; refill guests’ drinks and set up bar pre-mixes.

Qualifications

• Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere.
• Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention-to-detail, and a sense-of-urgency.
• Show a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers.

Physical Demands

• Move throughout the corporate office and cafes during visits (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time.
• Sit for extended periods of time.
• Make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
• Express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
• Work with hand above shoulders.
• Occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds.
• Tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment.
• Tolerate travel via auto or airplane for long periods of time.
