Busser/Food Runner

About the role

We are looking for a hardworking food runner/busser to join our team at The Rusty Rail Brewing Company in Mifflinburg. This role combines responsibilities for clearing and resetting tables, as well as supporting waitstaff to ensure customers receive their food efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Bussing duties:
  • Clearing and resetting tables, including wiping down tables and chairs and sweeping around the tables
  • Attentively scanning the room during meal service to identify tables that need clearing
  • Ensuring tables are ready for new guests
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, including washing menus and high chairs
• Food runner duties:
  • Communicating with kitchen staff to explain orders and special requests
  • Communicating with waitstaff to determine their needs
  • Quickly and accurately delivering food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables
  • Assisting servers with properly serving food and drinks
  • Keeping the expo area clean and organized

Schedule

• Part-time, 20-29 hours per week
• 48-hour shift (rotating schedule)
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday with weekend availability required

In person at The Rusty Rail Brewing Company in Mifflinburg.
