Busser / Dishwasher
Description
Under general supervision, the Busser/Dishwasher's primary objective is to provide a clean and safe kitchen area for our team members. They will wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. This position will ensure the Dish room and equipment are clean and organized. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ depending on business necessities and resident requirements.
Busser Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with running food and beverages to residents and guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Bus, clean, sanitize, and reset dining tables according to community and sanitation standards.
- Assemble, stock, maintain, and disassemble busser stations before, during, and after meal service.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout all dining and service areas.
- Transport dirty dishes, glassware, utensils, and service items to the dish pit promptly and safely.
- Assist dishwashing staff with restocking clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and service equipment throughout service periods.
- Communicate courteously and professionally with residents while assisting with clearing dishes and maintaining dining room cleanliness.
- Assist with opening and closing side work duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and removing trash from dining and service areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and HACCP guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Perform other related duties and cleaning tasks as assigned based on operational needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school Level diploma, GED or equivalent knowledge or experience is preferred.
- Experience preferred in similar role
- Food Handlers Certificate
Pay
Starting pay from: $17.13-$20.60 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule
Part Time ; Rotating Days 4:30pm-7:45pm, weekend availability required.
