Busser

About the role

The Busser plays a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. This position supports the waitstaff by setting tables, running food as needed, maintaining ice supply, and ensuring guest needs are communicated promptly. The Busser also assists with dishwashing tasks, bar support, and general cleanliness throughout the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Clean tables and remove dishes after party leaves
• Assist in running food to tables when necessary
• Notify servers when tables need attention or guests need service
• Carry loads of soiled dishes to the dishwashing area to be cleaned
• Assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree preferred
• Restaurant or customer service experience preferred
• Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift, carry, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds independently. Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on various terrains and uneven surfaces on an occasional basis. Must be able to walk outside in variety of weather conditions to include rain, wind, heat, sleet, snow, extreme heat or cold.
