Job Summary
Bussers play a vital role in maintaining the flow and cleanliness of the restaurant. They support the service team by clearing tables, resetting stations, and ensuring that guests experience a clean, comfortable, and well-prepared dining environment at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Support servers and hosts by clearing and resetting tables quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining room, patio, lounge, and service stations.
- Refill water glasses, bread service, and other guest needs as directed by servers.
- Ensure proper setup of tables and sections at the beginning of each shift.
- Help restock server stations with glassware, silverware, napkins, and other supplies.
- Assist with carrying food, clearing plates, and communicating guest needs to the team.
- Follow all sanitation and safety procedures for dishware and dining room upkeep.
- Perform opening and closing side work and cleaning duties.
- Communicate effectively with team members to maintain a smooth flow of service.
- Move with urgency, awareness, and attention to detail during busy shifts.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but not required.
- Energetic and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to move quickly and stay organized under pressure.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Must have (or obtain) a current Arizona Food Handler’s Card.
