Responsibilities

• Support Servers by clearing and cleaning tables in a timely manner.
• Communicate clearly and constructively as part of a team.
• Clean and sanitize tables before new guests arrive.
• Ensure all dishes used in the dining room are sparkling clean.
• Sweep, mop, and in some instances, vacuum dining room floors.
• Clean up spills and remove trash.
• Clean furniture, fixtures, and walls in the dining room and service areas.
• Carry dishes to the dish room.
• Scrape, sort, and stack dirty dishes.
• Restock clean dishes in the front of house.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock restrooms, checking them every hour.
• Be on time for work.
• Maintain a positive, fun-oriented attitude.
• Follow all uniform standards.
• Handle dishes carefully to avoid breakage.
• Adhere strictly to cleaning/chemical solution guidelines.

Other Duties & Tasks

• Perform any additional duties or tasks as reasonably assigned by managers.

Performance Measures

• Dining room is maintained clean and well stocked.
• Tables are able to be seated quickly.
• Feedback from Servers, Managers, and Guests.

Requirements

• Exceptional aptitude for Guest Service.

• Able to meet all schedule requirements.

Physical Requirements

• The work area includes: food, refrigeration, knives, toasters, syrup dispensers, plates/bowls, slippery floors, and, at times, high temperatures.
• Physically intense environment requiring stamina and the ability to tolerate heat.
• Walk-in coolers, lift/maneuver boxes weighing up to 50 pounds, and stand/walk on hard surfaces for 10-12 hours per day.
• Continuous reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, stooping, wiping.
• Ability to tolerate proper use of cleaning & sanitizing products.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
