Serves as the financial lead supporting the Plant management and the finance organization
- Forecasting – Short term, long term and budgetary
- Business Unit P&L – Ownership in driving the results by monitoring the operational drivers, proactively communicating opportunities and risks, preparing analysis and presenting the results
- Analysis and explanation of cost drivers, which will include working closely with the operations team to review, identify and advise on opportunities for avoiding costs and/or adding value
- Cost Accounting – Ensure integrity of standard cost data and accurate accounting for Business Unit results
- Pricing – Maintain a deep understanding of customer contracts, monitoring for compliance with the contracts, preparing effective pricing analyses and presenting to executive management
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of effective Pricing Models
- Preparation of ROIC and other financial analyses for capital investments and monitoring and communicating the actual ROIC realized
- Continuous Improvement and Business Processes – Work with broader RBC team to identify opportunities for business process or data system improvements in a continuous effort to improve accuracy, efficiency, speed, and ease-of-use
Required And Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- 5+ years of cost accounting and/or financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong in Microsoft Office applications (particularly MS Excel)
- Solid logic and reasoning skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work autonomously yet in strong collaboration with team
- PowerBi or One Stream experience is a plus
- Public accounting experience is a plus
