Job Summary

This position serves as a vital financial advisor to facility leadership, translating complex data into actionable operational strategies. The successful candidate will manage all business unit accounting functions while driving efficiency through detailed performance reporting. This role requires a proactive professional dedicated to accuracy, process improvement, and effective team mentorship in a dynamic environment.

Job Duties

• Provide site leadership with financial guidance and strategic decision support.
• Manage monthly closing procedures and maintain general ledger integrity.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable controls, and asset reconciliation tasks.
• Produce detailed variance reports explaining primary operational financial drivers.
• Evaluate revenue and labor trends to maximize departmental profitability.
• Direct annual budget preparation and ensure rigorous audit compliance.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
• At least four years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
• Advanced technical proficiency in Excel and ERP software.
• Currently has or has the ability to secure a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.

Preferences

• Background in public accounting or multi-site financial support.
• Professional certification such as a CPA or CMA.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting platforms.
• Previous experience supervising and developing accounting staff.
