About the role

As the Business Transformation Analyst, Lead – Capacity Management, you will advance provider capacity management across assigned specialty teams. This role leads a team that provides day-to-day administration and implementation of provider template enhancements while performing advanced analysis to generate meaningful business insights, monitor performance, and recommend actions to achieve defined capacity, utilization, and operational standards. The role focuses on the analysis, design, optimization, monitoring, and governance of provider templates, resource groups, and scheduling algorithms.

In close partnership with Department Administrators, Clinic Operations, Providers, and scheduling and systems teams, you will ensure provider capacity aligns with operational demand and organizational priorities. You will also execute enterprise capacity initiatives aligned with strategic imperatives in partnership with the Executive Director of Patient Journey Transformation, fostering a culture of empathy, service excellence, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration across clinic leadership, capacity management, and IT teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team responsible for day-to-day administration and implementation of provider template enhancements.
  • Perform advanced analysis to generate business insights, monitor performance, and recommend actions to achieve capacity, utilization, and operational standards.
  • Analyze, design, optimize, monitor, and govern provider templates, resource groups, and scheduling algorithms.
  • Partner with Department Administrators, Clinic Operations, Providers, and scheduling and systems teams to align provider capacity with operational demand.
  • Execute enterprise capacity initiatives aligned with strategic imperatives in collaboration with leadership.
  • Foster a culture of empathy, service excellence, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
  • Analytical and data interpretation skills to analyze capacity, utilization, and scheduling data and translate insights into actionable operational improvements.
  • Leadership and team coordination skills to manage work across teams and ensure execution of capacity management initiatives.
  • Project and program management skills, including the ability to manage projects, track milestones, facilitate meetings, and drive execution.
  • Operational and process improvement skills, including knowledge of process improvement, re-engineering, and change management principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to clinical, operational, and executive audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Medical Group, Clinic Operations, IT, and analytics teams.
  • Problem-solving and decision-support skills to identify risks, trends, and opportunities and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Technical and systems acumen, including familiarity with healthcare scheduling systems, reporting tools, and template or capacity management concepts.

Pay

Salary Range: $77,022.40 - $117,582.40. Salary ranges represent the expected base pay for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among team members in similar positions.
