About the role

The Business Talent Recruiter plays a crucial role in supporting DLA Piper's strategic initiatives by managing the full life-cycle of recruiting efforts. This includes designing and implementing recruiting strategies, sourcing candidates through various channels, and ensuring the smooth execution of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with hiring managers to design and implement overall recruiting strategies.
  • Develops sourcing strategies based on role requirements, including active and passive candidate identification.
  • Connects with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develops job postings for internal and external platforms.
  • Oversees the entire job requisition lifecycle, from initiation to closure, including resume screening, assessment, and candidate recommendation.
  • Administers offer letters, negotiates job offers, and coordinates with hiring managers to manage candidate feedback and follow-ups.
  • Manages candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS), conducts recruitment administration, and communicates important employment information.
  • Communicates with HR to coordinate new hires and other recruiting activities, and assists with developing and administering the recruiting budget.
  • Measures business outcomes against recruiting investments and assists with developing and maintaining the recruiting brand.
  • Attends staff meetings and provides support with managing recruitment-related social media outreach.
  • Assists with developing and monitoring recruiting budget and resource allocation.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborative and result-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in a high-volume recruiting department (3+ years).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with an ATS database (Workday).
  • Knowledge of social media and open web search methods.
