This role supports the Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) organization and is responsible for helping mature Configuration Management Database (CMDB) practices, CSDM alignment, data governance, integration oversight, and process improvement initiatives. The consultant will collaborate with technology and business partners to ensure accurate CMDB management, improve data quality, support governance requirements, and drive adoption of configuration management best practices across the enterprise. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Support and enhance enterprise Configuration Management Database (CMDB) processesManage and improve CMDB and CSDM data quality, governance, and compliance activitiesPartner with business and technology teams to implement Configuration Management best practicesMonitor CMDB integrations and coordinate issue resolution and escalation activitiesSupport Service Asset and Configuration Management initiatives across the organizationAssist with onboarding new technologies and retiring legacy technologies within CMDB processesDocument processes, standards, controls, and configuration management proceduresAnalyze business and technology requirements and translate them into effective solutionsSupport operational governance and enterprise data quality initiativesCoordinate stakeholders and project activities across business and technology teamsTrack project schedules, deliverables, risks, and dependenciesEnsure alignment to enterprise policies, standards, and compliance requirementsSupport systems integration oversight and configuration management repository maintenance EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
