Position Summary Milestone is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst III (BSA III) to support the enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) transformation initiative, including the migration from SumTotal LMS to SAP SuccessFactors Learning. The BSA III will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, Learning & Development, Human Resources, Compliance, Quality, Information Technology, and implementation partners to ensure business requirements are accurately captured, documented, validated, and translated into effective system solutions. This role will support business process analysis, requirements gathering, curriculum and training data transformation, testing coordination, validation activities, reporting requirements, and deployment readiness. The BSA III will play a critical role in ensuring the future-state learning platform meets business, compliance, and operational needs while maintaining GxP and training compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis skills, experience supporting enterprise software implementations, and familiarity with learning management systems within regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences organizations. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Management Elicit, document, analyze, and manage business requirements for the LMS transformation program.Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process review sessions.Partner with business and technical teams to define future-state learning processes and system capabilities.Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and use cases.Ensure traceability between business requirements, system configuration, testing activities, and deployment deliverables.Facilitate review and approval of business requirements documentation. Current-State and Future-State Process Analysis Analyze current learning management processes and identify opportunities for improvement.Document current-state and future-state workflows.Evaluate training administration, curriculum management, learner assignments, qualification tracking, reporting, and compliance processes.Support process harmonization and standardization activities.Identify business process gaps and recommend solutions. LMS Migration & Data Analysis Support migration activities from SumTotal LMS to SAP SuccessFactors Learning.Analyze training and curriculum data for migration readiness.Assist with data mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.Document business rules governing training records and learning assignments.Validate migrated data against approved requirements and business expectations.Coordinate review and signoff activities with business stakeholders. SAP SuccessFactors Learning Support Collaborate with implementation teams to define system requirements and configuration needs.Support design workshops and solution review sessions.Review proposed configurations against business requirements and compliance needs.Assist in documenting functional specifications and configuration requirements.Participate in defect triage and issue resolution activities. Compliance, Validation & Quality Support Support GxP-regulated system implementation activities.Assist with Computer System Validation (CSV) documentation and review activities.Contribute to validation deliverables such as:User Requirements Specifications (URS)Functional RequirementsTraceability MatricesTest ScenariosValidation EvidenceEnsure compliance-related business requirements are accurately documented and tested.Support audit readiness and documentation management. Testing & User Acceptance Support Develop and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.Assist in creation of test scenarios, test scripts, and test data requirements.Coordinate testing schedules and stakeholder participation.Track test execution, defects, resolutions, and retesting activities.Facilitate business validation and acceptance of system functionality.Support deployment readiness assessments. Reporting & Analytics Requirements Gather and document reporting requirements.Support development of dashboards, training compliance reports, and operational reporting capabilities.Validate reporting outputs and analytics requirements.Partner with business stakeholders to ensure reporting supports regulatory and operational objectives. Stakeholder Engagement Act as a liaison between business users, project teams, technical teams, and implementation partners.Facilitate requirements gathering and solution review sessions.Build strong working relationships across HR, Learning & Development, Compliance, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and IT teams.Support change management and organizational readiness activities.Assist in development of end-user communications and training materials. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Human Resources, or related field.5+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience supporting enterprise software implementations or business transformation initiatives.Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and system requirements.Experience supporting software implementation, migration, or transformation projects.Strong understanding of SDLC, requirements management, testing, and change management practices.Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed organizations. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Learning.Experience with SumTotal LMS.Experience supporting LMS implementations or migrations.Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences organizations.Familiarity with GxP-regulated environments.Experience supporting Computer System Validation (CSV) activities.Experience with training compliance systems and learning program administration.Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
