Business Systems Analyst

Location: Richmond, VA – Must be able to work without sponsorship.

About the role

The Senior Business Analyst contractor will support the Enterprise Project Management Office. The role ensures that business client requirements are captured accurately before solutions are developed or implemented, and plays a key part in delivering projects that meet client needs. The Senior BA reports to the Managing Director of Risk, with day‑to‑day activities coordinated by the Lead BA.

Responsibilities

• Identify business needs and define feasible solution scopes.
• Work with stakeholders to understand their working environments, underlying needs, and concerns.
• Identify all business, technical, product, and process requirements.
• Analyze and understand “current state” processes to ensure clients and project teams grasp the context and implications of change.
• Collaborate with the client to prioritize and rationalize requirements.
