About the Opportunity
The Business Systems Analyst role focuses on driving continuous improvement in systems supporting order management, account operations, CRM, and EDI processing. This position is responsible for evaluating system performance, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and leading project initiatives from concept through deployment. By applying data analysis and collaborating closely with IT and operational leadership, the analyst influences cross-functional priorities and directly supports strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement projects across Salesforce, Manhattan WMS, and EDI systems by identifying performance issues and recommending prioritized solutions
- Manage full project lifecycle for system enhancements including requirements gathering, business case development, testing, deployment, and evaluation
- Analyze system performance, order metrics, and operational KPIs to identify trends and support business cases
- Act as primary business partner to IT for order and account-related systems, ensuring accurate translation of business requirements
- Drive EDI improvement efforts by investigating transaction failures and coordinating resolution with IT and external trading partners
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on system initiatives and operational data trends
- Lead user acceptance testing by designing scenarios, coordinating teams, and evaluating results
- Foster collaboration across IT, Sales Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to align system improvement priorities
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in business systems analysis, sales, commercial operations, or related fields with involvement in system improvement or technology projects
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and/or Manhattan WMS as a business user
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel
- Understanding of EDI order processing and issue resolution
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and align cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills to convey complex system and data insights to diverse audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
Pay Range and Compensation Package
