Primary Responsibilities
- Participates in meetings with senior officials from HHS, ASPR, and SNS.
- Analyzes existing or proposed procedures, systems, strategies, services; Identify needs for improvement or assist in development of methods and resources to accomplish such improvements.
- Works with stakeholders to understand business needs, evaluate and documents requirements.
- Works with IT teams to develop, configure and test systems that meet business requirements.
- Conducts data mining, analysis, and modeling from structured and unstructured data using analytics tools (e.g., Excel and Power BI).
- Extracts insights to develop findings, inferences, conclusions and recommendations.
- Translates the results of analysis into clear, actionable communications that equip decision makers to make informed, data-driven decisions based on data analytics.
- Creates, develops, and publishes sustainable reports and dashboards that update with current data on a reoccurring basis.
- Develops and maintains working relationships with appropriate organizations to meet the needs of the program’s mission.
- Researches, collects, compiles, and reviews qualitative and quantitative information and data for use in program decisions.
- Aids in the preparation of system recommendations to senior officials.
- Maintains continuous readiness posture by remaining flexible to respond 24 hours a day, year-round. Support emergency management/incident response functions as needed to accomplish the program’s mission.
- Performs other related duties.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into technical, low-code solutions. (i.e. Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must possess character traits of being accurate, meticulous, proactive, efficient, self-starter, a team player.
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Public Trust suitability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting a government agency.
- Technically savvy.
