About the role

The Business Systems Analyst 5 plays a critical role in advancing modern processes and a clinically integrated supply chain at UCI Health. They manage ERP system integrations, data flows, and configurations, collaborate with key stakeholders, and support operational compliance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced system integration initiatives and data standardization efforts
  • Develop and maintain clear SOPs for supply chain procurement, contracting, inventory, and materials management
  • Support operational compliance reporting including HAN, HCAI/AB962, Supplier Diversity, and quarterly ODB submissions
  • Function as the primary point of contact for advanced SQL/data science queries and transformation logic
  • Apply statistical modeling and analytics to surface actionable trends and improve operational performance
  • Collaborate with internal SCM leadership and staff, as well as external departmental leadership and team members across UCI Health, and/or UC Office of the President

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with healthcare supply chain systems and data integration methodologies
  • Experience working with data warehouse and data automation tools
  • Experience with SQL, Data Warehouse platforms, and advanced Excel-based data manipulation
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain procurement, contracting, inventory, and materials management operations
  • Proven ability to lead ERP system integration and data flow strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize and present data effectively to non-technical audiences
  • Proven success collaborating with internal and external departmental stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with Premier ERP/MMIS and associated third-party integration platforms
  • Prior experience with Lean or Six Sigma certification (or comparable process improvement background)
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory frameworks and compliance reporting structures
