Business Support Analyst - Energy Efficiency

About the role

The Business Support Analyst - Energy Efficiency performs quantitative/qualitative analysis and reporting to support PSE's residential energy efficiency rebate programs. Provides technical support and consultation for database systems, participates in program planning including goal setting, budget planning, market research, evaluation, and business case development. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement through data-driven insights, and supports program marketing and outreach campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Provides application maintenance, troubleshooting, and training for internal and external stakeholders
• Assists with application system implementation, testing, and upgrades (may include coding and scripting)
• Inputs data and evaluates output from departmental modeling tools, benchmarking comparisons, and performance reporting
• Initiates, leads, and performs analysis; provides/presents recommendations
• Provides ad-hoc data analysis, including research and review of issues, and follow-on response
• Coordinates and supports data requests from internal or external sources (compliance, audits, government filings)
• Assists with departmental initiatives, new analysis development, and process improvement
• May lead project teams on various business initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business, economics, finance, or related field, and 3 years experience in quantitative/qualitative analysis; or equivalent combination
• Experience with relational database systems (querying, analysis, reporting)
• Strong computer skills with MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to understand and explain technical concepts
• Excellent writing, communication, and customer service skills
• Experience and desire to work in a team environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize assignments

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Project management skills
• Experience leading teams
• Advanced relational database familiarity (MS Access, SQL, Oracle)
• Familiarity with CSEE Systems (CSY, CLX, CMS)
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Knowledge of programming languages (Visual Basic, SQL, VB.NET, HTML)
• Knowledge of rate-making process
• Familiarity with SAP, BI, PACE
• Process documentation and improvement experience

Pay

$72,700.00 - $103,300.00, with eligibility for annual goals-based incentive bonuses.
