Business Support Analyst

About the role

Department/Unit: Information Systems & Services. This Business Support Analyst will closely assist in the financial functions for all IT based business units.

Responsibilities

• Provide project assistance and services for the operating and administrative needs of the business unit, including organization, financial and goal planning efforts.
• Participate in the coordination of departmental budgets for both operational and capital programs.
• Monitor the Information Technology budget with respect to operational and capital expenses and maintain databases to support these activities.
• Collect and analyze data needs to perform various financial evaluations.
• Participate in the coordination and management of IT Planning activities.
• Review and process invoices against approved contract list and vendor agreements.
• Assist in the financial tracking and recording of activity by project of capital initiatives and be responsible for periodic reconciliation.
• Collect and query financial data, analyzing expense trends and identifying financial opportunities.
• Prepare detailed, accurate financial plans and reports for leadership review.
• Prepare presentation materials for executive management as needed.
• Participate in the coordination and validation of plans in the IT business planning process.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• In‑depth practical experience in financial processes.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office software applications, with advanced experience in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Pay

Salary Range: $59,066.00 - $88,599.00
