About the role
The Business Sales Representative plays a crucial role in helping small business customers protect their assets and operations. They are responsible for demonstrating the value of ADT's innovative security and smart business solutions, customizing systems to fit each business's unique needs, and building long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Listen and build trust with small business owners by showing up with integrity, empathy, and expertise.
- Customize security, automation, and life-safety technology solutions to align with each business's layout, operations, and security needs.
- Conduct post-installation follow-ups to ensure commitments are met and to strengthen relationships and referrals.
- Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and generating leads within your designated territory.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
- Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right solution.
- Adaptable and flexible, excelling in dynamic environments and enjoying learning new systems and approaches.
- Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Pay
Compensation is based upon performance, with an unlimited earning potential including uncapped commissions. New sales advisors can expect to earn up to $85,000, while experienced sales advisors can earn over $150,000. For the first 8 weeks of training, you'll earn up to $4,000.
Schedule
This role involves visiting customers at their businesses, requiring some travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
