About the role

The Sales Advisor role at ADT is focused on helping small business customers protect their homes and properties. You'll work closely with business owners to understand their needs and recommend appropriate security and smart business solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Use strong communication and creative problem-solving skills to explain the value of ADT's innovative security and smart business solutions.
  • Customize security systems to fit the unique needs of each business, combining security, automation, and life-safety technology.
  • Conduct post-installation follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and generating leads within your designated territory.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
  • Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers and understand their needs.
  • Adaptable and flexible, excelling in dynamic environments and learning new systems and approaches.

Qualifications

  • Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Skills
