About the role

The Sales Advisor role at ADT is focused on helping small business customers protect their homes and properties. This includes demonstrating the value of innovative security and smart business solutions, customizing systems to fit unique business needs, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Use strong communication and creative problem-solving skills to explain security and smart business solutions to small business customers.
  • Visit customers at their businesses to provide tailored solutions, including security, automation, and life-safety technology.
  • Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm commitments were fulfilled and strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and generating leads within your designated territory.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
  • Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers and understand their needs.
  • Adaptable and flexible, excelling in dynamic environments and learning new systems and approaches.

Qualifications

  • Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

  • Compensation: Unlimited earning potential with uncapped commissions.
  • Additional Pay: Up to $4,000 for the first 8 weeks of training.
