About the role
The Sales Advisor role at ADT is focused on helping small business customers protect their homes and properties. This includes demonstrating the value of innovative security and smart business solutions, customizing systems to fit unique business needs, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Responsibilities
- Use strong communication and creative problem-solving skills to explain our products and services in depth and recommend the right options for small business customers.
- Work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, partnering closely with business owners, decision-makers, and teammates.
- Visit customers at their businesses to provide tailored solutions, listen and build trust, customize security systems, conduct post-installation follow-ups, and cultivate new business opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willing to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
- Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset; you thrive on uncovering new leads and closing deals that deliver real value.
- Strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right solution.
- Adaptable and flexible; you excel in dynamic environments and enjoy learning new systems and approaches.
Qualifications
- Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

- Compensation: Unlimited earning potential with uncapped commissions.
- Additional Pay: Up to $4,000 for the first 8 weeks of training.
