About the role
The Sales Advisor role at ADT is focused on helping small business customers protect their homes and properties. You'll be responsible for demonstrating the value of ADT's innovative security and smart business solutions, customizing systems to fit each business's unique needs, and building long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Use strong communication and creative problem-solving skills to explain ADT's products and services in depth and recommend the right options for small business customers.
- Participate in a dynamic, collaborative environment, working closely with business owners, decision-makers, and teammates to provide tailored solutions.
- Visit customers at their businesses to listen, build trust, and customize security systems to meet their needs.
- Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm commitments were fulfilled and strengthen relationships.
- Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and generating leads within your designated territory.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
- Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers and understand their needs.
- Adaptable and flexible, excelling in dynamic environments and learning new systems and approaches.
Qualifications
- Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.
