Responsibilities
- Represent the Company and its interests while upholding company values.
- Lead by example to build a high-performance, collaborative sales team.
- Establish rapport with other sales regions and key internal groups.
- Grow business and market share within a defined region in collaboration with Business Development and Marketing teams.
- Develop sales and channel strategies for new and existing products to maximize market penetration (Distribution, Direct, or combination).
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance targets, with an annual sales target of approximately $25 million.
- Maintain targeted sales margins.
- Communicate strategy, priorities, and progress to the team.
- Develop, evaluate, mentor, and coach employees through performance objectives.
- Provide evaluation and training for sales personnel and distributor sales forces.
- Perform strategic planning of resources and opportunities.
- Monitor and achieve departmental expense budgets.
- Provide sales forecasting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Frequently visit key customers, distributors, and the sales network.
- Facilitate and support desirable Accounts Receivable levels and address other customer-related topics in the region.
Requirements
- 4-year degree in a technical discipline (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or physics preferred).
- Professional training in Sales Management.
- At least 5 years of Sales Management experience.
- 10 years of related industry experience (engineering, quality, metrology, inspection, machine tool).

Pay
The annual pay range for this position is:
- Central/Midwest: $83,000 – $104,000
- Northeast: $88,000 – $110,000
- Medical, vision, and dental plans.

Pay may be influenced by job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, and talent scarcity. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions.
