Business Risk Manager

About the role

Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They’re among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, assessing, documenting, and reviewing risks
• Designing, implementing, and testing controls
• Developing and testing key procedures
• Creating and reviewing key risk indicators
• Registering risk events, managing, and delivering risk incident reports

Requirements

• A 2:1 degree from a top university
• 2+ years of experience in operational risk management in financial services
• Experience with risk identification and monitoring
• Previous examples of practically interpreting and organising complex data
• A solid track record of achievement, having won competition awards (can be any of academic, professional, and/or sport)
• The ability to quickly assume responsibilities
• An organised and methodological approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• An understanding of control frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000) and risk taxonomy, including operational, financial, and compliance risks
• Experience with process mapping, RCSA execution, control testing, and issue remediation

Qualifications

• Nice to have: Knowledge of US regulatory frameworks
• Nice to have: Experience with data analytics or visualization tools to support risk monitoring and reporting
• Nice to have: Familiarity with automation and process optimization tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Figma) and their use in improving control effectiveness
• Nice to have: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional, fast-paced environments, collaborating with multiple stakeholders across business and technical teams

US: $108,000 - $127,000 gross annually
