About the Role

Protiviti is looking for a Supply Chain & Operations Senior Consultant to join our growing Supply Chain & Operations Innovation team. As a Senior Consultant, you will mentor, train, and coach Interns and Consultants while facilitating the successful completion of project work plans. You’ll identify areas of risk and opportunities to increase efficiency, strengthen client relationships, and deepen your ability to communicate, gain trust, and network with client personnel and professional associates.

At the direction of Managers, you may accept responsibility for decision-making in areas including establishing project scope and work plans, project staffing, preparation of deliverables, and application of methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor, train, and coach Interns and Consultants
  • Facilitate the successful completion of project work plans
  • Identify areas of risk and opportunities to increase efficiency
  • Strengthen relationships and deepen communication with client personnel
  • Establish project scope and work plans, manage project staffing, and prepare deliverables
  • Apply methodologies to drive process improvement and business transformation
  • Design and implement digital supply chain solutions using relevant technologies
  • Perform documentation of findings and summarize recommendations
  • Supervise teams, including mentoring, oversight, and coordination
  • Translate and communicate supply chain topics and issues to client personnel, including executives

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with core supply chain processes such as Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Contract Management, Supplier Management, and Accounts Payable
  • Experience designing and implementing digital supply chain solutions and applying technologies
  • Familiarity with traditional technologies supporting key supply chain functions, such as Contract Lifecycle Management, Source-to-Pay, and Third Party Risk Management/Monitoring
  • Experience with process improvement, business transformation, and project management methodologies (e.g., Lean, Agile, Change Management)
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and business case management
  • Ability to evaluate, summarize, organize, and interpret data
  • Experience establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network
  • Supervisory experience, including mentoring, oversight, and team coordination

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Supply Chain, Operations, or Business-related field)
  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Consulting, or a related field, either in industry or professional services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with secondary emphasis on Visio, Access, and Tableau/Power BI
  • Professional certifications such as CPM, CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, Six Sigma/Lean Six Sigma, or Certified Scrum Professional are a plus

Work Arrangement

Protiviti practices a hybrid model, combining in-person work (locally or at client sites), travel, and remote work. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and business factors. Travel may include local or out-of-state assignments based on project and client needs.

Pay

Starting salary range for this role is $86,000.00 - $129,000.00, based on experience, skills, and geographic work location. The annual bonus plan provides eligible employees with additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities, with a target bonus of 10%. The estimated total cash range for this role is $94,600.00 - $141,900.00.
