Responsibilities

  • Facilitate annual and ongoing strategic and operational planning at the market level in concert with the market leadership team.
  • Leverage regular reporting and ad-hoc analysis to identify critical market opportunities, create business cases, negotiate resourcing, and document plans.
  • Lead the Monthly Performance Review process for each Market, using national best practices, and provide analytic, financial, and operational consulting to achieve targets.
  • Use metrics, financial reporting, and other data sources to identify market opportunities; provide consultation on strategies, root cause analysis, and trade-offs.
  • Track and analyze sales and productivity metrics to inform future strategies; forecast sales, revenue, and expense projections to achieve a sustainable business model.
  • Account for the competitive landscape and specific competitors when shaping plans and strategies.
  • Lead and oversee projects, manage execution support with key home office functional areas (e.g., real estate, marketing, product), and adjust implementation as needed.
  • Monitor the benefit of strategies in relation to overall market objectives.
  • Collaborate with and influence peers and leadership within the business performance team; present and influence at senior levels.
  • Partner across the organization, including human capital, Firm Analytics, Finance, and Data & Insights teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Obtain both the SIE and Series 7 top-off license within 6 months of hire.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience, including:
    • Excellent knowledge of the industry or firm and its business practices and processes.
    • Strong knowledge of field structure and market operating systems.
    • Proficiency in analytic and technical knowledge of business performance (metrics and financials), market trend analysis, and applicable tools.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree (preferred).
  • CFA or CFP certification (preferred).

Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
