Business Operations Specialist
About the role
Think Academy Irvine, a 100% owned subsidiary of TAL Education Group, is seeking a Business Operations Specialist who also teaches a limited number of classes. The role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into campus leadership, understands execution, and is comfortable taking ownership.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive key campus business goals (renewals, parent satisfaction, execution quality)
- Cook up and execute daily campus operations and cross-functional tasks
- Support student enrollment, renewals, and parent communications
- Identify operational problems and push solutions to completion
- Act as a key execution partner to the Campus Principal
- Teach 2–3 math classes per week (PreK–Elementary level)
- Use Think Academy curriculum and teaching guidance
- Maintain teaching quality to stay connected with classroom realities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above (Education, STEM, Business, or related fields preferred)
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, imperfect environment
- Clear communication skills with parents, teachers, and internal teams
- Willing to work during the weekends and take responsibility for results
- Taught experience is a plus, but not required
- Passion for education with execution capability, not just enthusiasm
