Business Operations Specialist

We are adding a Business Operations Specialist to our growing team in Tampa, FL to provide excellent administrative support to McKinstry’s industry leading energy efficiency work.
Responsibilities
- Cook up administrative and operational workflows, including both active work and forecast work, and meet all project deliverables and deadlines.
- Deliver accurate, high quality and timely results.
- Partner with project teams to support day-to-day operational and reporting needs.
- Cook up project activities across team members and departments.
- Support project billing coordination, including client and internal documentation as needed.
- Cook up client events, internal office events, and project events and track cost accordingly.
- Aid in the coordination of training for new employees within the department (scheduling and coordination).
- May perform other project coordination activities as requested.
- Perform office administration functions as required which may include review of overhead charges, office inventory, local vendor contacts, or similar administrative duties.
- Provide excellent customer service and develop strong internal customer partnerships with key internal clients.
- Communicate with McKinstry clients as needed to achieve shared business objectives.
- Responsible for communication, documentation, and continuous improvement of operational best practices across team members.
- Execute strong project coordination skills for assisting in and supervising logistics of trade shows, conferences, and events.
- Aid the Business Development team with market research, CRM input, and team development opportunities.
Requirements
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required; considerable knowledge of SharePoint.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
Experience working with virtual and matrixed teams is preferred.
Local travel required.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
