Business Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Manage demand and supply planning for key retail customers to ensure product availability and target service levels.
• Review customer forecasts, inventory positions, and supply plans to support business needs.
• Partner with retail customers to understand demand trends, promotional activities, and inventory requirements.
• Monitor purchase orders, backlog, and shipment schedules to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Cook with factories, procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align supply with customer demand.
• Identify supply risks, shortages, and capacity constraints, and drive mitigation plans to minimize customer impact.
• Lead communication with retail customers regarding supply updates, risks, and recovery plans.
• Support CPFR activities and forecast alignment discussions with strategic retail accounts.
• Analyze demand, inventory, and sales trends to improve forecast accuracy and inventory health.
• Manage supply planning and customer inventory for strategic accounts, including Amazon, Best Buy and other major retailers.
• Partner with Sales and Operations teams to optimize inventory, improve fill rates, and maximize revenue opportunities.
• Cook product allocations and inventory prioritization during supply-constrained situations.
• Support new product launches, transitions, and end-of-life activities with retail customers.
• Track and report key performance metrics, including fill rate, inventory, backlog, and on-time delivery.
• Drive customer satisfaction through proactive supply management, effective communication, and issue resolution.
• Build strong relationships with retail customers and internal stakeholders to support business growth and operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Operations or related field
• 2+ years of experience

• Able to analyze and fill in gaps where needed
• Relationship building skills

Pay

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $65K-85K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
